Unit-e Transaction Switch

At NamITech we believe that Universal Commerce will become the preferred method of transacting around the globe. Universal commerce refers to being able to do 'anything, anytime on any device'.

Subscribers would therefore be able to do the same transaction from either their mobile phone, a point-of-sale device, an unmanned kiosk, Internet enabled PC or Personal Digital Assistant.

NamITech has developed a secure middleware multi-channel transaction platform - unIT-e - which operates between GSM, electronic and Internet environment. The platform affords a Mobile Operator the ability to launch new Value Added Services and to continually update an existing range of services without having to re-develop the delivery mechanism. 

New services or third parties can be 'plugged' into the system with minimal effort, thereby enabling the operator to launch new services with a very short time to market.

The platform is of a modular nature so that it can be adapted effortlessly to meet the needs of our customers. Low maintenance and support requirements make the solution extremely cost effective. 

The unIT-e platform also acts as a conduit for information commerce, including location-based information, transportation timetables, stock quotes, financial indicators and results of sporting events.
